Most geometric Egyptians have consistent capital letter widths, large x-heights (short ascenders and descenders), and abrubt serif transitions. Ferdinand, on the other hand, has capitals that vary dramatically in width and a small x-height (from Futura), and softly curved bracket serifs (from Clarendon).

The swash alternates, inspired by the very 1970s flourishes of ITC Bookman Swash, raise the level of anachronism and pastiche. (download a PDF) (buy it now)
